The English Themes Page

This page was created to help the student in his better understanding of the topic of themes, a major part of literature.
The theme is a central idea, concern, or purpose in a literary work.
This page of themes was created to add and supplement the notes given in class and hopefully help the student understand a litte more about one of the main parts of a piece of literature.

The authors that are included are a sampling of the authors covered during the course in class and other additional ones that could have been assigned in order to elaborate more the sake of better understanding.

A lot of effort and work was put into this page and we hope it is helpful to you so at least try to take the effort to look it over.
